Our client, a Downey resident in their early 70s, was growing increasingly concerned about safety in their aging bathroom. The slippery tile floor posed a constant risk of falls, particularly during wet conditions. They were seeking a solution that would not only enhance safety but also provide a more modern and accessible bathing experience.
The Solution:
Bath Planet Shower by AC&R was delighted to assist this Downey resident in transforming their bathroom into a safe and stylish haven. We specialize in exterior remodels, including shower installations, and our team of experts was eager to tackle this project.
The Process:
- Consultation and Design: Our design team met with the client to discuss their specific needs and preferences. We took careful measurements of the existing shower space and assessed the condition of the plumbing and electrical systems. Based on these details, we created a customized design for a new shower that would not only be safe but also complement the overall style of their bathroom.
- Demolition and Removal: Once the design was finalized, our skilled technicians began the demolition process. We carefully removed the old shower, including the tile, fixtures, and plumbing. We also disposed of all debris responsibly, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
- Installation of the Bath Planet Shower: The heart of the project was the installation of the Bath Planet Shower. This innovative shower system features a slip-resistant acrylic surface, providing superior traction even when wet. The seamless design eliminates grout lines, which can harbor bacteria and mold, making it easier to clean and maintain.
- Additional Features: To further enhance safety and accessibility, we installed grab bars strategically around the shower. These sturdy bars provide support and stability, giving the client peace of mind. We also replaced the showerhead with a modern and easy-to-use model.
The Outcome:
The Downey resident was thrilled with the results of their new Bath Planet Shower. The sleek and modern design instantly transformed the bathroom, giving it a fresh and inviting feel. Most importantly, they now had a safe and accessible showering experience that allowed them to enjoy their daily routine without worry.
